3I wish I had bought another brand of DVD player
This is a temperamental unit. It MUST be connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. The multi color coded cables it came with were useless and caused the unit to indicated that a disk was not loaded when it was in fact loaded. So, order a HDMI cable from Amazon or you'll have to make a trip to the store. I got mine from an all night CVS. Prior to trying the HDMI cable as a last resort, I had actually decided to return it.

As for the unit's remote control, it is very small with VERY tiny labels for the buttons. It will be hard not to misplace this remote and even harder to read it.

The instructions are not good and the diagram that's supposed explain the remote control unit doesn't really line up the button labels with the various buttons.

So, after 3 hours of completing a task that should have taken 10 minutes it appears to be running, for now.

1I used it for only two weeks and then it won't stop doing a rolling broken line with GPX.
By Tanya Templeton
This was my Christmas present for myself this year. I read great reviews about it so I picked it to purchase.
After using it only 2 weeks it started doing a rolling broken line with the letters GPX across the screen. I have been unable to use it since. It will not load any of my movies and just does that rolling line when I turn it on. I tried to find a place at the AMAZON site where I could possibly return it or get a replacement to try again, but there is no where that this seems to be available. It just takes me to a page where I can order another one and pay for it again. It was a real disappointment and I am now looking to buy one at a local store in my area because this was not a good buy for me at all.

Works great, but was soooo loud you couldn't possibly sit and watch the movie because of the loud whining noise the DVD player was making while playing the movie. I fiddled with it and finally put a rag under the front two little legs to prop it up just a little and it made all of the difference??? Anyways, it works great now and whine is tolerable and almost non-existence. If I had bought this at a store I would have returned it. Since I ordered it online and returning it was a pain, I took the time to mess with it and see if I could fix it some way. Again, it serves it's purpose fine now. Great price, but you get what you pay for so be ready to return it if you are unable to work the kinks out.
