Buy this and waste your time and energy. Rather than repair my $250 tablet they kept tablet, and sent me check for $48,

Waste of Time and Money. Bought at warranty for $250 Nexus 7 II Tablet. Kids cracked screen sent in and they repaired it. Left some marks, but overall seemed OK other than small 1 cm light blue line in screen, which I did not care. Wife bought 2nd Nexus 7. Upgraded both to 4.4.4 KitKat, when upgraded noticed the kids tablet that Square Trade "Repaired" auto rotate did not work. Tried all the Google solutions including factory reset. Went online to submit claim, which directed me to GOOGLE since it was under warranty. After 1.5 hours on phone with Google they told me it was not covered because it was bought from Amazon, not Google Play. Google sent me to manufacturer Asus, but Asus wont warranty because Square Trade had already repaired. Called square trade, waited on hold for over an hour, explained that I cannot sent to manufacturer, they said they would send me return ticket, and was sorry their system was slows. Never got the email. Called in Next day explained exact same situation, but refused to hang up until I got the email for return, they could not do that, but assured me I would get the return label this time. Got the label a day later, packed, TOOK A PICTURE of my tablet with post it not on what needed to be fixed. NOTE the display they repaired the first time was not the same displays as the new, not even sure if the tablet I got was really my original because the SN sticker was missing. Waited 3 days got email saying that they will not repair my unit and they would send me a check for $48 and that I would NOT get my tablet back. Reason was that the first repair was $200 so $48 was the remainder of the warranty left. I was furious, the only thing wrong was the auto-rotate quit working. I called and wasted 2 hours on the phone and demanded they send me back my tablet. 3 days later, I got a package from Fedex I had to sign for, Opened immediately to check the tablet. The one they sent back was CRACKED, would not power on, and had drop marks on all the corners. This was NOT my tablet because I kept mine in a protective case. I even took a picture because I heard that they sometime crack them and state that is how they got them. I finally got the cracked tablet it to power up and found that they sent me someone tablet, I had access to their pictures, email, and facebook etc. They did not even clear the tablet and it was not password protected. I called and demanded to speak with manager, but they were at lunch, called back 2 hours later and was told that they have to submit a ticket and a manager would get back to me in 24 hours, I explained that the managers DO NOT call back and I would wait. They insisted a manager would call back in 24 hours, it has been two DAYs no tablet, No call from a manager, going to email the person who's tablet they send to me to get aware of Square Trades shady practices. *Note on the screen issue, they replace the with older NEXUS 7 version 1 screen, or I now suspect they just swapped for an older version of tablet and the dot matrix type pattern was on this, and was not one the version I sent in. Take a picture before sending in and Check your SN's you wont get back the same tablet you bought, maybe discretely mark the tablet to make sure you get yours back and not some junk.

Waste of money
Thought the plan that bought had accidental coverage, which was the reason I bought an extended warranty. I tried to file a claim today becuase the screen on the chrome book is cracked and not working and was told that my plan does not cover accidental damage. Now my daughter has a $300 chrome book that she can't use unless I can find someone to replace the screen for me. Waste of money! I would never recommend this plan and I will never buy another thing from this company!

It took a while

It took a while for me o receive this warranty, and it was all my fault, for some reason Yahoo kept sending it to my spam folder. Well I didn't know this at first so I sent an email to Amazon. and I still didn't receive it. Than the next day Square called me I didn't call them and asked if I had received it, well I hadn't so she promptly sent another and lo and behold there it was in my spam folder. it was the first time I had had a company actually call me first to make sure I got their product. So all I can say is their customer service is great. I haven't had to use it yet and I hope I don't have to, but if I do I'll update this review with my feedback.
